Thanked: 2Christmas Gift for a Service Member
To all,
I have recently become a member of this forum and site. I found the site when I was researching about straight razor shaving. I posted in the Beginners forum where you make your introductions. I mentioned that I am over seas with the US Army. I also have nothing as in supplies to get started yet, but was wanting to slowly start gathering all the supplies necessary. I received an email shortly after from a gentleman that asked to remain anonymous. He also got my address to send me a Christmas care pachage that would set me up with everything I would need to start shaving with a straight razor.
The spirit of giving is still alive and well. I am so greatful to him and the people of this site. This is such a great place to get information and meet great people. Again I would like to thank the gentleman for the generosity and big heart.
I'm not sure how far this thread will go but I would like to make it about the generosity of others.
Thanks again to the unnamed gentleman

Wow! That is really nice of whoever that was! Whoever you are thank you for helping spread the Christmas Spirit, and classic wet-shaving as well!
Thank you for your service.

That is so awesome it warms my heart to hear, good luck on getting started Hamilton. I would also like to thank the very generous anonymous gift giver! I don't know what base you are at but I wonder if there are any straights to be had at the Bazaar? I only went to the one at KAF twice when I was there they had a lot of junk mostly bootleg DVD's. I was not in to razors then so I did not even think to look. I just remembered they all have beards probably not going to be many razors there. Enjoy when your package of goodies arrives.
Aloha,
ED

Thanked: 2I received my box full of goodies on Christmas Day! I have used the soap, but have not tried the razor yet. I want to have a couple days under my belt before starting something else. One thing at a time I guess. But check out what I was sent.

Dude that is so cool that is a nice looking set up, good luck on your first shave! It looks like that cake of Williams should fit right inside a borrowed D-Fac coffee mug... Thanks again for sharing and thanks to Hamilton's Secret Santa.
