Thanked: 1Blade from India
Beginner question... any advise about this?

What makes a razor good... or more importantly, what makes this one bad?

The lack of quality in steel, grinding and tempering will make it unsuitable for a shaving razor. Not bad if you want something to hang on the wall.

The advertisement says it's a replica. Actually, I read nothing to indicate that it's an actual razor used for shaving. Like one of those replica Hobbit swords. Looks cool but not usable.

Thanked: 1Its a shame that a " good" razor couldn't look this good with a sub £100 price tag.
Still, I love my boring plain straight.. at least it doesn't chew my face

Thanked: 2Replica.... end of story!
I saw one Sweeny Todd replica here in US for $12, not sure if it was amazon or ebay.
