Yes it's bad form to bash, but honesty is what we are here for. I would not consider it bashing to relay honest info...so I did. My razor from Larry looks quite bad, but works quite well. That is not bashing, it's fact (well...appearance is subjective, but most here would consider cosmetic devil's spit to "look quite bad").
Additional description of the razor would include statement that there was so much hone wear that the blade has nearly been converted to a 4/8 wedge, and the blade stabilizers were ground off. I'd guess that this razor started life as a 6/8.
Still, not bashing! He delivered EXACTLY what his business model advertises (a professionally honed shave ready straight razor).
I'll say it again, I have no regrets, he is a great guy and I knew that I was not buying a beauty model;)

My two razors from larry were fine, shave really well and nothing wrong with the look of the scales or blade. With the poor mans strop kit as well you can't go far wrong for something to learn on. His badger brushes are very reasonably priced and do a good job too.

I should have mentioned that. His brushes are much to my liking. Very reasonably priced!
