Sorry don't own any Dovos either. If you are asking where I got my used stainless razors from, one was from ebay and the other from the classifieds here.

First, if you use it regularly and let it dry not in the bathroom, then rust is not an issue.
Since approximately 1 year, TI come shave ready from the factory. You just need to strop them.

If you take a minute and dry your razor after use and even wipe a drop of mineral oil on the blade, the carbon steel razors will probably not rust in your lifetime. Do not hesitate to purchase a new razor from any of the great commercial sponsors on this forum.

Here's another option - if there is a mentor or senior member in your area, they might let you use some of theirs to see which suits you before you purchase.

And If you are truly on a budget budget, I sugest whippeddog.com, you can get a sight unseen for like $25 but it will not be a looker at all but it will be a razer to shave with.

I've been shaving with the dovo MOP SS lately. I think it shares the same blade with the pearlex. Shaves very nicely. I can't tell any difference between carbon and stainless as far as shaving/honing qualities.

Default Hello I'm new and need help

    Great choice!

Just remember not to mess with it when it arrives. If its shave ready then the next thing it touches should be facial hair.
