Can't wait!
So i have been shaving with a straight for a month, been loving it! i have been using a razor which I recieved from my aunt as a gift from poland (5/8, no brand name or stamps) which has been doing pretty well for me! (i know it is shave ready as i have been getting irritation free close shaves)
so i ordered a few items from srd a few days back including a dovo bq 5/8 so that i have a reference point in terms of sharpness as i have read ONLY good about srd edges since they are honed by the best! so i checked the tracking and surprisingly it has arrived the uae post office (took 3 business days!) and i will be collecting it today! i sure cant wait! love the service from straightrazordesigns and the guys there were really helpful in recommending products and answering questions!
i hope my post does not violate any forum rules and i apologize to the moderators if it does. the excitement is overwhelming and i thought id share it with our fellow wet shavers!
hope you all have a happy new year, and happy shaving to you all!
Hal.

SRD is great. Love the service, speedy shipping, products, and of course the damn sharp blades.

Thanked: 116I'm suggesting that it could be a SFK Wapienica, if it has stainless steel handles and no markings on the blade?? Take a pic man, interested to see what you've got.

Thanked: 116I think I was correct about it being a Wapienica. I have one and love it to death. Do a search on the site for it and compare pictures to what you have!
