Thread: 1st straight shave

well, Christmas Day I finally got to open my set from Tony and man I couldn't wait to try it out. I was impressed with the Tony's workmanship. I had some ebay razors to practice stropping with and when I felt comfortable I put my new dovo on the strop and I guess did pretty well. That thing shaved like magic! I did both cheeks and my neck with 1 nick. It was awesome shaving with a straight and now I'm hooked. So thanks to Tony for his set and thanks to everyone here for helping. Can't wait till my next shave.

Yea and the scarry part is that this addiction is legal I find now that I am on a constant hunt for new (old) razors. Every darn antque shop and pawn shop I just have to stop to see if I'll get lucky. Welcome to the madness

I'm fairly certain he already has, but it's not pretty. I don't think I would survive.
