Thanked: 0Brush storage
I have heard not to store your shave brush in the cabinet after use. Is there a reason as to why? Won't it still dry the same if it hangs bristle side down and the cabinet door cracked to allow some air to pass?

Thanked: 334I leave mine hanging on its stand on an open shelf in the ol' shave cave. I don't really see any reason not to leave it in the cabinet as you describe.

Re: Brush storage
After use i give mine a good rinse, flick as much of the water off into the bath then do my best to dry it by rubbing it on a dry towel (like paintbrush strokes) then i store it in the cupboard where the boiler is. Not had a problem with that method so far.

Thanked: 1Boiler cupboard works for me too.
As there is a high shelf , I also keep my razors in there out of reach of the nippers.
The dry warm air seems to keep everything crispy dry and the cupboard is used enough (getting towels out etc) to avoid the build up of any moisture in the air from the wet brush drying.

Thanked: 3226I have a metal medicine cabinet bolted to the wall in my bathroom. The brushes that I use regularly have small magnets glued to the base and hang upside down under the medicine cabinet over the sink. Never any problems.

On a stand on the window sill. Drys out a treat and it's right next to my sink.
