Thread: One thing I have learned

There are so many ways to skin a proverbial cat.
I have found that in shaving, honing, and razor selection, that trial and error is the only way to find out what works FOR YOU!
There is a lot to be learned from the videos posted on youtube and other places about how to do this and that. Most are very reliable and useful..and some are rubbish.

The SRP forum will answer nearly any question you might have and I have found everyone trys to help the best they can but don't be afraid to experiment with all things. You might not get the solution to your original experimental question but might make you think about something else.

The quest (I can assure you) is where the fun is.

I have to agree though, the quest is the fun, at least for most of us, there are some that simply want to "Shave" save some buckage and move on, but I guess that falls under the YMMV part too hehehe
