Thanked: 1587Sorry, still don't know anything about that brand. Condition looks poor, but I suppose you expect that from a lucky dip.
Good luck.

Thanked: 1263Its a Solingen Blade so at one point it was a good razor. It's honed right into the stabilizer though and alot of toe wear.

After a couple of hours with google I've found it was made by Heinrich Kaufmann & Söohne in Solingen Germany and was produced from 1932 until 1939 so I guess that answers my own question.
Cheers everyone. I know it looks on its last legs but it shaves perfectly and given the cost including shipping to Scotland I'm happy.
Davie.

Thanked: 15I have gotten 2 blades from Lary one of them is some brand I can not find anything about (Blue Glaze) and I lucked out with the other to get a W&B but I have confidence in anything I get from whipped dog, both of mine are damn fine shavers and keep an edge so they are worth everything I paid.
A married man should forget his mistakes. There is no use in two people remembernig the same thing.

Email Larry over at whipped dog. He is great about that stuff. I love that guy and have never been less than thrilled with my purchase. They come SHARP.

This is the dog's speciality. I've dealt with Larry for awhile now and have never been displeased. He has (or had?) a trade in program where you trade in your Whippeddog blade for another one as an even up trade. I did this starting out. It's a great way to try out different grinds, sizes and countries of origin without a whole lot of cash outlay. Chances you'll find that one special grind, size and country.
