Thanked: 1072I regularly use a DE for shaving my head, but rarely for my face.
I do tend to take a DE if I'm travelling though.

As many others do, I use a DE occasionally.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

I occassionally use a DE but I'm selling down my DE collection. I'll keep half a dozen DE's, SE's and injectors I think.

Thanked: 1195I actually picked up a DE after using SR's for a year or so, and they are a permanent part of my rotation. I enjoy using them and the shaves they provide. I also like having some variety

Thanked: 1185Yup, used one just this morning. While I do use a straight more often than not, I still have 4 DE and 4 SE safety razors that I pick up occassionally. As a minimum, I usually use a safety razor every Friday. The other days are kinda, whatever the spirit moves me. No shame in it, they're all great shavers and the variety is nice.

I have three des and i still use two of them sometimes (can't figure out what i did with the third one) one stays at home and one at the office just in case. Its funny the two that i use are the ones i got at antique stores for less than 10 bucks total, the one i lost was brand new and far more expensive but never shaved as will as the old ones

Re: Do you veteran straight razor shavers continue to use DEs at all?
I've only been using a SR for a year, so I'm far from being a veteran. I have a Tradere (OC) and a Wagner DE both of which are great shavers. I use both of my DEs and my SRs regularly. I always bring my DEs when I'm traveling since I'm usually in a hurry. I doubt I'll ever get rid of my DEs. Great shaves all around.

Yes, I continue to use my DE razors, especially when traveling, or when time is short. I have 12. Although I shave mostly straight, I still have a soft spot for the DE.

Like many that have already responded, I shave almost exclusively with a straight when at home. When I travel I take both a DE and a Feather AC but tend to use the DE more because I've got less time to shave.

Thanked: 0Been shaving with a straight for about seven months, so wouldn't call myself a veteran yet. I dont have any DE, but do have a number of SE, including two seven day sets and a rolls, which I use if I am in a hurry.
