    Why not simply the sound of a razor cutting beard, or for those of us shaving with vedges "Simon and Garfunkel The sound of silence"

    The traditional shaving equipment that I discovered through sites such as this one was a "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" for me. 40 years of troubled waters.
