    Default I think I've got R.A.D.!

I've just purchased a Dbl Duck Wunderedge. It's my second straight razor in 2 weeks. I'm only on shave #4!

You will find it gets worse. Sad for soap, Had for hones, BAD for brushes, wanna see my strop collection ? I been at it a whopping 4 months. Got pins and washers yet ? A hobby is a great thing to have and if you use your hobby daily then that justifies the expenditure. That is what I tell my therapist and credit counselor anyway. :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I find I spend my money on more razors rather than the other things I need... hones, strops, brushes, creams, restoration equipment, food.

Wait till you get HAD when you get into honing. There is some real money to burn there. I know your feeling though. I started buying my second week in. After 14 or so I stopped for a while but I am getting the itch again. I have my eye on a TI or a Whacker. I got a bunch of really good shavers cheap on ebay that honed up very nicely. By cheap I mean 20 bucks or so. The only time I got burned was on a double duck gold edge I paid 70 bucks for. When it arrived I noticed a microscopic frown on it that I couldn't see in the pictures and as expected no returns. All of the other razors turned out great though and I have gotten to do a lot of practice honing.

I mentioned in another thread that there has to be a 12 step program for this. There was a point there where I had another razor coming in every day for two weeks.
