Thanked: 3Did a couple of things different had trouble on the third ATG pass
Hi All,
At first I didn't think I liked shaving soap, however, this morning I was looking at an old thread from 2010 about shaving soap vs cream and I saw something that i didn't know which was to put the soap on the bottom of the bowl pour hot water on it and put your brush on top and let it sit for a while. Anyway, the soap lathered up like a dream. I usually put pre shave oil on under the lather but this morning I tried it without because the lather was so nice. Everything was going well until the last pass shaving up on my left cheek. The razor wasn't budging so I stopped regrouped and tried again. It did it's job but it wasn't easy. The rest of my face didn't really have the same issue. I know my razor is sharp it's brand new and honed by Lynn; this is my third shave with it. I was wondering if you thought it might be the lack of pre shave oil, poor angle, cheek not tight enough? Also, I seemed to have popped some blood vessels because I was bleeding but there weren't any cuts.
So excited about the lather, bummed about the third pass.
