Serves me right.
I was talking to a fellow sr newbie at work today, he had just had his second shave and was sporting a nice new dueling scar and I foolishly said that I had only ever cut myself once and on my very first shave but I knew straight away I had just cursed myself. I got home to find that my new tub of T.O.B.S. rose shave cream had arrived so I jumped in the shower, lathered up and started shaving, 1st pass perfect 2nd pass perfect 3rd pass made it to my neck big cut under my left ear (real need to work on shaving my neck) serves me right for open my big mouth.
Davie.
ps any tips on shaving my neck?

If you're really a newbie at this, concentrate first on getting good at the cheeks before attempting getting close on the neck.

I know the feeling. I would suggest you NOT shave in the shower. If you wind up dropping the razor you may be singing at a little higher pitch. I always at the very least wrap a towel around me even when stropping.

I'm definately still a newbie I'm only 17 shaves in although my cheeks are BBS I seem to be able to shave them relatively well (just cursed myself again) it's my neck that is causing me problems my hair seems to grow up the way on my neck so to go with the grain I have to go towards my face I can manage this it's when I go against the grain I struggle.
I don't shave in the shower I know I didn't say that in my original post but I should have.Last edited by morph1886; 02-01-2013 at 06:48 AM.

The neck is always a issue. Dont go for a BBS, just do a pass or two and then your done. I still dont get a BBS shave on my neck and i done try. You need to learn the way the hair grows on your face before the shaves become great.
