Need help finding some links from an old thread
I am going to purchase a new razor soon and I saw some links somewhere in here recently that I cannot find. One was a link to a site where a guy made and sold razors. I think he had worked or makes razors for a bigger company like boker or something at some point. He has some for sale at reasonable prices and someone mentioned they looked like whackers. Also if anyone can help recommend something in the 8/8 or even 10/8 sizes I would apprieciate it. I own a Hart and a couple of Dovos, a DD and some other ebay stuff but want to try something a little different. Any help would be apprieciated. Barbers tip or spanish tip would be great.

I have several Wackers. They can be a little finicky to get dialed in on the hones and be a little chippy, but once there they are very good shavers. I like them a lot.

I've got a couple of Wackers and they have both been real good shavers. High class stuff.

I just got this one.
6/8 Ralf Aust Spanish Point Carbon Steel - fancy black plastic : Shaving Shop - luxury classic wet shaving products - straight razors
I will let you guys know how it shaves. Can anyone attest to the shave readiness of that site? It says it comes professionally honed so I should be ok. I am gonna go for one of those big whackers next month.
