Thanked: 1Brothers birthday gift ideas
Hey guys,
Just thought I'd say Hi, I'm Pete from Ireland.
Living in DK right now, got my straight razor from Ireland. Its a "Dovo Solingen".
Quite a nice straight razor, its a basic one, costed around 90$.
Started off stropping it with the wrong side of the strop ^^ quite funny.
Now I have myself a Naniwa 12000grit stone which is a wonder.
Any ideas for a straight razor gift for my brother Birthday? (Straight razor in and around 100 - 120 dollars to Canada)
?

It really depends on what he needs as to what you can get in that price range. For that price you can get him fully kitted out with nice workmen equipment. Or you can get a few nice pieces of a higher scale.
So how does your brother shave now? Has he shown interests already in shaving with a straight or are you trying to convert him? Does he already use a brush and soap?

Thanked: 1Well I would like to buy him a straight razor.
The only one I can see is this Amazon.com: Dovo "Astrale" Straight Razor, 5/8": Health & Personal Care
Amazon is very limited and every other US website i visit has EXTORTIONATE shipping costs.. like 40 dollars to 60 dollars shipping.

Thanked: 0Great idea's about gifts but it depends on your needs . So offering gifts have been an age old tradition. It started from the time of kings and queens and exists till today. The mode of sending gifts has altered but the sentiments are the same.
