Thread: Best Shave Yet!

I'm still pretty new to the game, so sometimes my results are a bit inconsitent. I always get a passible shave, but some start, go, and end better than others. Last night the perfect storm of shaving was brewing and it all came together nicely. I had some time so I opted for a soak in the tub first. (I know, really manly right?) Manly or not, I let my head slip into the water until just my nose and eyes were above the water line. I soaked for quite some time and then got out and prepared to shave.

I chose my Dovo Astrale and had shaved with it a few days prior with "ok" results. As I stroped it up, something felt and sounded right. My touch was extra light and everything just felt good. I gave it a few more passes than I usually do (probably around 100). I lathered up and went to work. The angles and strokes just came and the blade flowed smoothly over my face with a very very light touch.

The result was the best shave yet. I still look and feel smooth this morning (12hrs later) and 0 irritation. I'm looking forward to more like this one!
