Lesson learned
Well I learned the hard way to not let people rush me. I happened to nick my nostril with my square point. Not bad but bloody for as small a cut as it was.
Used my styptic and re-lathered. Then finished at my leisure.
I didn't even tell the wife.

The straight razors sure make you bleed for the little nicks that you get. I keep nicking my fingers when I don't pay attention.

Thanked: 3228Yea, never be in a rush or have anyone push you, especially as a beginner. When I shave the bathroom door is closed and SWMBO now understands not to bother me. I can make enough mistakes without additional help.
