Thread: newbie making headway

Well i imagine the solingen e-bay specialo was a bit blunt on my first shave with a lot of tugging going on, and i'm still waiting for my beginners strop to arrive ,which should be tomorrow. In the meantime i,m letting by beard grow out a little to give me a fighting chance although i couldn't resist playing with my new toy.
Now i can't keep using this belt as a makeshift strop as my trousers will be round my knees and that may not go down too well as i wander around the dwellings of female clientele! and the autosol paste is drying it out but.....I am mowing down arm hairs with ease, then performing the old trick of holding a hair between finger and thumb and slicing said hair which is a definite improvement.
So now i,m looking forward to Shave Test #2 with the utmost confidence and grinning like a blade-wielding maniac. I must thank you all for this site which is guiding me through my first baby steps.

Hmmm, or maybe it will go over really well wandering around the dwellings of your female clientele... lol, jk
