Hi all. New to SRP and just want to say how great it is to have such a rich source of information. I've been preparing to start shaving with a straight for a month or so now after really enjoying the swith to DE shaving. I really enjoy studying a new hobby and with the information I've received here I have bought a few vintage razors, done some minimal restoration, honed and stropped one of the razors. While closely following the instructions for new straight razor shavers, I have shaved just one cheek today. The feeling of the razor was great. Perfectly smooth in every way. Can't wait to continue developing these skills and studying this new hobby; ok, obsesion. Wife thinks it cool too. (Lucky for me.)
