Good evening Gurus. I have a cheap strop from e-bay. It has 2 seperate parts , one being the usual leather and the other a pvc type material which is quite soft. Can you tell me what the latter pvc length is used for , or is it , as i suspect absolutely useless.? Should i finish on the leather or the softer synthetic ?
