Thread: Short introduction and thanks to Badgister

Hi,

I was interested in Straight Razor shaving for a while, but always hesitated to really try it. For a beginner buying a Straight Razor can be a daunting experience in particular if you don't live in a city with many retailers of such things.

I am from Montreal myself and at some point I found the website of Badgister, who is a member here and who had a SR set for sale together with an offer for an introduction to SR shaving.

Yesterday I went to see Badgister at his office and I felt the need to open an account here and add my testimonial about the whole experience.

He took the time to explain the basics, he prepared the SR included in the set to be shave-ready and all in all I feel he did everything possible to set this newbie safely on the path to SR shaving.

Alright, I don't know how to put this in better words but if you're a Montrealer unsure of where to turn to start with the right foot on the SR shaving path, he's the gentleman to talk to !
