    Default Newbie here... disposable?

I was thinking of trying out straight razors, and was just going to start with a cheap disposable kind and if I liked it, work my way up to a nice straight razor. I found the Monsier Charles Disposable Straight Razor for $24.00 at http://bestgroomingtools.com/product...products_id=70. Would this be a good product to start with?

I figure if I like using the straight razor, I'll learn to sharpen and hone the blade, but wasn't sure what exactly I should start out with.

    Thanks a lot!

The feel of a disposable shaver is different than the feel of a straight. You can't really compare the experiences. You can get started with straights for $100 though. Members sell starter razors for $40 or so to start with, and you can get a hanging strop and a bench strop for about $60 total.
