Default What do I look for under the RS microscope

My W&B razor's edge looks bright under the RS microscope. What should it look like?

Well, you really can't see much detail with that scope but what you should be looking for is a nice straight edge with no chips or ragged edges. The bevel should be even also.I wouldn't worry too much about the polished edge. If your getting too much reflection even as you change the light source and angle you might have gone too far in your honing and have a wire edge.

    Totally unbiased of course.

In my defence, that thread shows before / after pictures so posting the link is not only about showing off.
