Thread: Truefitt & Hill pre-shave oil, help!

I bought some Truefitt & Hill pre-shave oil and like how it makes my face feel. Then I read some posts which talk about pre-shave oils saying that they make it difficult to stretch the skin, foul the brush etc. According to Classic Shaving this oil is water soluble. Today I put it on and wiped it off with a hot towel. It really makes my beard stand up on end. Should I use it this way, any better suggestions?

I say if you like how it feels, and you don't notice any problems, use it! As long as you clean your brush well when you're done, I don't think you have too much to be concerned about. Just my $0.02.
