    Default TI Paste

I recently purchased a TI double sided paddle strop, and some TI paste for the strop. While watching part of Lynn's DVD, I saw him put the TI paste on the linen side of a strop. My question is, is it okay for me to put this paste on one of the leather sides of the my strop? I was going to do it, but after watching Lynn's DVD I am not so sure now. The instructions that came with the strop recommended using their own paste for it (which makes me glad I purchased it), but again, just a little bit of doubt on my part for whether or not that paste was made specifically for linen strops.

BTW Lynn, great DVD, very helpful to watch everything versus just reading about it.

I'm sure the instructions that came with my Mazda told me to use only genuine Mazda parts but guess how often I use'em as replacements lol. If you're using a hanging strop and don't have an extra, the only paste you should use on it is strop dressing and even that's a once in a blue moon deal.
