This reminds me of Archery, my other favorite pastime. I can't find it online but my mother sent me an newspaper article about a guy from back home I know that said when he stopped worrying about the results and concentrated on the actions his scores increased greatly.
Now I found it and will leave my previous words.

Tim, that was a great article.. I know the feeling and have used it successfully in the past. Sometimes you can get so focused things get unclear. You have to stop thinking so much.
A few years ago, I was playing a round of golf with a friend who bragged about his single digit handicap.. he was good, but not that good. On the third tee I filtered one question into the conversation really casually.. "Do you inhale or exhale on your back-swing?" He started to think about it on every back swing and his round went in the crapper...
