    Default Razors edge

After realizing that running the edge of a razor over your thumbnail just out of curiosity is a bad thing, I was wondering if stropping alone would return the edge to an acceptable level of shaving again. The razor seems to be tugging a little more now than before.

IMO,I usually do the TNT only when on the 1 k and setting my bevel.. only knowing I'll b going to the 4/8 hones.. I believe u may have to goto the hones to remove the damage.. I strop before any shave anyways, so strop it before u shave and u may get lucky..

If stropping alone doesnt do it, your cheapest route is go to the hardware store, get a stick of chromium oxide buffing compound, rub some on the inside of your linen strop, the part facing the back of the leather. štrop on the about 15 laps, wipe it off then 40 linen 60 leather and test shave it. If that doesnt work, then its honin time.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
