    Default Lynn's dvd

I received Lynn's dvd in the email yesterday!! Have been busy watching and soaking up all the information. Highly recommend this dvd to other newbies like me. I am still a wet shaver but that will change soon.
I appreciate the help and advice members have given me so far. Hope to chat with you guys tonight!

Hello, kimbal. I've been using a straight razor for a little over a month now, but I have not bought Lynn's dvd. Can you give a little overview? Is considerable time given to good shaving technique? Anyway thanks,

    Justin

These is about an 8 minute video on google of Lynn doing an actual shave, I am not sure if that is taken directly from the dvd or not as I haven't seen my dvd yet,
but just based on the google video and all I heard the answer would be yes, check it out if you haven't already. It can also be found on this site by going to main page>library>videos and then choose download file if you have windows media player it will auto play. Hope that helps.

Lynn's DVD is probably the best money you'll spend with regard to straight razor shaving (Bill's CD with regard to straight restoration...but that's another thread). Newbee or senior member, Lynn's DVD will teach you a bunch and remind you of still more every time you watch it. I'm sure you've noticed the lack of resale of these DVD's...that's because no one will part with their's once they've seen it.

    Cheers,
    Ed

    Default lynn's dvd

jaegerhound, yes the dvd gives a good amount of time to shaving technique. Very informative. The dvd covers, honing and stropping, small amount of restoration, lynn's collection, preshave, shaving and resources and links. Hope this is helpful to you. Here is the link to that dvd on classicshaving.com. http://www.classicshaving.com/page/page/522940.htm
Hope this helps. Not sure if you got my message prior to this. Take care

    Default Buy it

It is worth every single penny. Like others have said, whether newbie or senior member, good information. But especially if new. I have watched it several times now, while waiting for my newly honed razor to get here from Lynn. I have got to tell you, it covers almost everything you could ever want to know, at least for someone new to the whole straight razor thing. A wealth of information.
