Howdy
Howdy from the Republic of Texas, new to the site and to shaving with a straight. Got my first razor earlier this week, and have shaved with it twice, getting better and will get even better with practice. Looking forward to hearing the sage advice from the more experienced shavers here.

The improvement in shaves can last quite a while, partly depending on how far you want to venture into the rabbit hole.
Great community here, check out the library linked up top there is a ton of great information there for beginners and experienced shaver alike.
If you cannot find an answer to a question you have ask away.
