Thanked: 4First Shave
Before I found this site, I bought a starter set with a Dovo razor listed as shave ready (not really) and set out on the straight path, needless to say I was not impressed and almost chalked it up to bad investment. I didn't want to put a lot of money into another razor if this was how straight razor shaving was going to be, but looking on ebay and chatting with sellers, I found some by guys who shave with them and not just selling them, so I bought some (shhhh don't tell DW) that were really shave ready. I used an old Henckles and had my first shave with a straight and now I understand the excitement. total enjoyment of pampering ones self, I just hope this doesn't lead to me getting RAD. Now I have to send the Dovo out for real honing till I learn to do it myself. The mach 3 got put away forever and I'm hooked. Sure am glad I found this site! Thanks for all the info and there is tons more to read...Greg

Thanked: 4828It seems to be one of those things that you have to do to understand and once you understand you wonder how something so simple could be so great. Don't fear the RAD. Glad you have found your happy spot

Dont worry RAD comes
you see on this site too many cool razors, brushes and soap/cream to let by.
Glad the shaves are good for you now.
