Thanked: 0Greetings and Salutations
Just picked up my first SR at a local pawn shop for $20. It's a George Ibberson & Co. Double Sharp. I came across this site from doing research for my new razor. I've never shaved with a SR or DE, but I'm looking to start soon. The Double Sharp is close to shave ready and I have a vintage Bismarck on the way as well. I'll send those out to be sharpened and hope to sharpen them myself from there on out. I have some soap samples on the way from Maggard, and I need to track down a shave brush.
I have a lot to learn, and I look forward to any insight and suggestions.

Thanked: 0Yeah, Brad and Casie came highly recommended. I have done some shopping and you can't beat their soap sampler prices. I'm trying to track down a vintage shave brush. I also picked up a beat up Wade and Butcher for $8 off the Bay today. I'll do some before and after restoration pics.
Any info on my George Ibberson & Co. SR would be great! I posted the back story and some pics in the Razor sub.
