I know the one in A'en and there is supposed to be one in Brussels.
There's also Carron in Gent (Veldstraat). It's basically a tobacco shop but they also sell expensive gentlemen's stuff like straight razors.
I think I wrote this earlier in the thread but also check out theinvisibleedge and the srp classifieds section. There may be other mail order cies in the uk but none that I know of.

i think most of the razors in de classifieds have a reasonable price but knowing the most comes from america the shipping is very expensive

I've had two razors sent to me for about 10 EUR I think (from the US). That's not so expensive. You need to be more careful about vat & duties so you have to stay below a certain value or have it sent to you as a gift.

E.g. this one looks interesting for a first razor, and part of the shipping fee is included:

That is untrue. It will mostly depend what the seller is asking and what service he's offering but shipping first class mail int (airmail 7-9 days) is not more what you would pay to have it send to the US. On the contrary I've even noticed the price from the US to Belgium sometimes to be less what a store in Germany or Spain charges to send your parcel to Belgium. And I've send plenty of first class mail int. parcels without any issues. It only becomes expensive once you start using the priority and other shipping options.

Very true. Because of the low dollar it's sometimes cheaper to import something from the States. PROVIDED there's no extra vat/duties etc. ...

In brussels there's one, in ghent...actually most big cities where you find stores that sell fancy man items you'll find them..
Though i don't think they'll be able to provide the same information de Koordenwinkel can provide..
Anybody coming to the scheercursus next week?

    edit: http://www.coutellerieduroi.be

Welllll ... you see this is the BeNeLux part of the forum meaning we theoretically have a mixed bunch of Dutch talking and French talking (and maybe even German, or whatever). Not everyone is fluent enough in both languages.

I agree, they do give a lot of good info (definitely compared to eg Caron)I've only done the Koordenwinkel shaving demonstration though, was enough to get me started en very much fun.
