    Living in Emmen, Drenthe.

    I actually saw someone with "Location Eindhoven" the other day here, search around an see!

    ... I've seen Nijmegen too, The Netherlands are so small anyway!

    In kilometers, yes. In gridlock travel time, not really
    Same for Belgium really.

    Yep, Nijmegen that would be me.
    My learning was done the hard way: buy a Norton 4000/8000 and a small coticule and a DMT 325 for lapping.
    It cost some but this is what here is considered a standard set up, at least that's what I got from Lynn's DVD.
    Then start honing and, with a little sense of what you're doing, you will get results.
    Somewhat messing it up the first time is what I did of course too.

    When desparate for success you can allways send you rasor to Lynn or Maximilian or some of the other vendor/honemeisters here through SRP. It will set you back a few dollars plus shipping but then you get a killer edge and can compare for future hone sessions of your own.

    Sorry, I would't want to hone for others; I am not that confident to not mess up someone elses blade.

    I'm still here. I just don't post much anymore. He's more than welcome to come by sometime. As long as the razor isn't too dull I'd gladly help him out....just realised that I also have diamond stones nowadays to set the bevel....so even if it's too dull I'd still be able to help out.
