Default 9 October meeting at Utrecht in the Netherlands

They finally found a place (the railroad museum in Utrecht) to hold the barbers meeting. I'm not going to translate the whole thing, you can find all info here:

Dutch: Verzamelaarsmeeting in het spoorwegmuseum Utrecht | ScheerMuseum

    English: Google Vertaling

    French: Google Vertaling

    greets Ron

Awesome! But I'm a little confused. It says "De Barbiersbeurs in het Maliebaanstation is gratis toegankelijk". And 2 lines below that it says "Wilt u andere verzamelaars ontmoeten, spullen ruilen, uw aanwinsten exposeren of een nieuwe aanwinst vergaren geef u dan nu op. Kosten € 12,50 te voldoen bij aanvang meeting". Does that mean I have to pay 12,50 if I intend to buy something? Anyway, looks cool and it's close by, so barring any unforeseen circumstances, I'll be there.

you don't have to pay to visit, only if you want a table to expose your shaving stuff. Mind you, that if you are just a visitor to the event you won't be able to buy, sell or trade anything! only the participants who paid and have a badge are allowed to buy, trade, sell products between each other. And that is in my opinion a rule that will result in many visitors finding the meeting not that interesting. But as I understand the rule was set by the location owners and not the organisators of the meeting.

Having to pay €12.50 to be able to buy something is stupid.

I'm curious to see who the self proclaimed Dutch honemeister is who advertises at Marktplaats.nl.

So we have to drive all the way to Utrecht (for us, Belgians) to 'see' razors, but we can't 'buy' any...
But if we pay 12.5 € we are 'allowed' to buy from others who payed the 12.5 €...
Don't think I'll come then, sorry.

Circumstances permitting, I'll try to be there. Any special requests as to specific hones I should bring?
