Thanked: 0Finally, a Benelux dedicated board!
At last!
I've been DE shaving for almost a year now, but I only registered at B&B. I've been going about the fact I can't find anything decent in brick&mortar shops here in Belgium.
I'm sure I'll post a lot of questions soon!

The 'koordenwinkel' in Antwerp is definitely a place where you can find everything you need as a shaver.
Welkom bij* De Messenwinkel
They have straight razors, strops, coticules, shaving creams and soaps, DE razors, aftershaves, etc.
Very friendly people.Last edited by Bruno; 12-31-2011 at 03:45 PM.

Ebay is a good source for DE blades, the more blades you buy at once the cheaper they get.

Personally, I prefer 1Barber in Jodoigne.
Gregory, the owner, is a very nice & helpful chap who's very knowledgeable about wetshaving. He stocks way more than the Koordenwinkel.
He has a webshop (1barber - Produits de rasage pour hommes), but also a very cool 'physical' shop.
He sends via Kiala so you pay 4 EUR independent of the weight.
Even so, when buying DE blades I would also rather buy them in huge quantities via eBay (Connaught shaving).
That's still cheaper.Last edited by decraew; 01-16-2012 at 11:46 AM.

His dutch is a bit funny but not funnier than my french I guess.
BUT he can help you out in dutch, that's for sure...
When we exchange emails, I will typically write in french, he will reply in dutch.
So, if you want to buy a new razor, I'd like to point out that Koordenwinkel will send them as they come from the factory. That's fine, but you should realise that such a razor will most probably not be what we call here shave-ready. Razors sent by Gregory from 1Barber will be made shave-ready if you ask him - he has the tools (he uses Shaptons up to 30k) to do this and I know from experience that he knows how to use them.
