    Default Scheerzeep droogt snel.

Hey, Mijn Proraso scheerzeep droogt enorm snel, alsook mijn Palmolive scheercrème... En na het scheren, na het aanbrengen van aftershave balsem trekt mijn gezicht heel tegen... Tips welkom

Ok, I'll do this in English so the rest can chime in if they want. You use two good products, so that's not an issue.

It is possible that your lather is too dry. Some like the consistency of unbaked meringue, for me the ideal lather is when you've added so much water that it rinces off the blade easily. But not so much water that it glides off on its own.

So that was one. The second point is, you're a beginner so your shaves can take a long time. In that case, just make enough lather and reapply during the shave when it becomes too dry.

The feeling after the shave, I don't understand the expression that you used, but this is probably a result of a shave that technically is not yet ok. And/or a razor that's maybe not sharp enough.

It's just when I apply my balm that my face tugs against. It's like someone is stretching my skin. It's not the razors, that I'm sure of

What balm do you use ? How does it feel without the balm ?

Oh, since you live in Belgium, you should get the balm from www.baume.be

Expensive but totally worth it, and it will last you ages.

I use Niveau for Men recovering balm. It's not that my face is like that the whole day. It's more like an hour or less

It's probably your skin that needs to get used to shaving with a straight. since you say that your razors are properly honed it's probably you technique that needs tweaking

    kind regards
