    Default brush issue

I've noticed that my new brush has started to dry strangely...the tips will be hard and kind of crispy, which I don't understand as I rinse my brush really well. I even used a vinegar water solution last night (let it sit for a few minutes, rinse and dry) and then today after I used my brush, it dried crispy again. It's one of whipped dog's silvertips, 24mm. I've never had this happen with any of my other brushes. What should I do?

I find with many badgers once it's dry it has that crisp dry feel however all you do it brush it with your hand and it goes back to normal.

Your not rinsing the brush enough, the issue is caused by soap residue IMO.

Actually the old true two banders do not exhibit that quality. The Super badgers and Manchurians however do.

If soap is causing the problem, once it's dry and you run your hand through it you will get kind of a powder (very fine) come off the knot.

I find that happens with dense brushes, and agree with TBS.

Depending on how often you shave, try using shampoo (instead of diluted vinegar) about once a month or so. BTW, If your old lady has some of the nice fancy shampoos around the house, use those

It's a pretty new brush, one of Larry's from Whipped Dog.

Pixel: I can rinse the brush for quite a while and when I squeeze and flick the water out, it still sounds like soap is in it if I squeeze the hair :l
