I know, I know I will give it a try again, but not till tomorrow, missed out a shave today for the first time in ages. I need to go to bed, but I may try it on the morrow.

I have the same brush as Steph, posted in the beginning,, I actually won it in a Contest on another forum :)
I am thinking it has to be about 2 years old now and honestly I do that exact same thing that he is talking about, I soak it in very hot water while I shower and it makes for a great "Lather on the Face" experience...
It makes me think of that line from Forrest Gump "Simple is what Simple does" everytime I use it :)
There you go, everyone is a bit different with how they do things shave brush related. I never soak any of my brushes, boar, badger or synthetic, just swirl them around in the cold sink water a bit, wet my face with them and then start loading the brush. I add a bit o water by dipping the tips in while loading and then face lather.
Bob
:) Yeah I read about you guys Bob, don't get the Brush handle wet, don't get the scales wet, honestly I don't know how you guys do it
I am a "WET Shaver" emphasis on the word wet, I get water and lather everywhere, from the razor to the brush to the mirror, countertop and floor.. It honestly looks like two kids had a Supersoaker squirt gun battle in the bathroom after I shave..
I clean it up, dry it off, and move on...
Oi gummer,
Threw the brush in a sink of cold water whilst I had a shower ( mashed it into the sink a bit to make sure it sank) had a shower and made my lather. Itmay have been better. :)
I might try bobs technique tomorrow, which is what I used to do when cart shaving. May as well make the most of me holiday.
I'm kinda liking the sound of a super soaker shave concept........Guess it's the juvenile in me ha ha.;)
Not !!!!...............
