Just emailed the supplier I bought the brush from and they confirm that the XL brush I bought is a V2. I did some further searching and found that the loft on the V2 XL is supposed to be 62mm which is the measured loft on mine. So the good news is that I do not have to buy another brush to see what the V2 is like. No wonder this is an impressive brush. The more that I use it the more I am convinced that I could easily live with it being my only shave brush.
