Brush shedding hair
Hi all,
Its been quite a while since iv logged on here, but I have recently run into something i could use some insight on.
I have had my brush, an SRD silver tip #1 for about 1 year now. right from the beginning i always noticed that the brush lost a few hairs when i shaved and chalked it up to just breaking it in. however the shedding never really stopped and in the past couple of months i have noticed an increase in the number of hairs lost every morning. some days as much as 15-20 hairs. its to the point where looking at the brush when it is dry clearly shows areas where it is thinning out. How should i go about dealing with this. I always run it under warm water and pat it dry and hang in a stand when done. is there anything else i should be doing to care for my brush?
Thanks,
Tyler

Thanked: 4942I have heard that they have awesome service over there and am wondering why you have not consulted them first??? They can always send it back to the maker and see what the problem is as well as replace it if there is a problem with it.

Well i really appreciate you taking the time to say that. I was just under the assumption that it was me causing the problem, and because it has been 8-9 months since i bought it, wasn't much i could do.
This really is one heck of a community. Ill shoot you guys an email soon to get more on your thoughts.
Thanks so much,
Tyler

My suggestion...Don't pat it dry Tyler. At the end of your shave, simply rinse it out under the tap to remove the remaining shaving soap/cream. Then shake it vigorously 2-3 times to remove any excess water, place it in your brush holder and allow it to air dry. That's what I do with all of my brushes.
