Benelini Mixed badger 20mm shaving brush
That brush has been bought mainly because i wanted the handle
I like the Black-Chromium combination
The same can be found in HJM brushes but that day i saw it in front of me and i bought it.
I have never heard in the past the name "Benelini" but i knew from my experience that the knot won't worth
Bristle shedding and bad lather plus the knot is not glued very well and i can remove it very easy.
The knot is Mixed badger from another ARTAMIS brush
I will show it to you latter with different knot
I washed the knot and soak it in White vinegar
Rinse-wash again-rinse and ready for the first test with a Mama Bear soap
Not one of my favourites by the way.
The brush is OK, nothing special but not bad
I will use it in my Saturday's shaving were i don't look for something deep or i am making tests.
Adequate backbone and softness but there is only one drawback:
The knot smells, not as a Boar but as a piece of cloth abandoned in a closed when it's dry
I will de-funk it again and i will make a new test with cream this time.

Thank you my fellow shavers !

De-funk procedure again: first wash with a soap and then soaking in White vinegar+hot water soluble for 10 min
Rinse, dry normally and dip in hot water+shampoo for some hours
Rinse, dry in cool air and the bad smell vanished and the knot became more soft.
Finally a test with a quality cream, the results were very good !
