I hope Bill doesn't mind me posting this - but just too cool not to share.
He turned this from a nice bar of lignum I couldn't bear to mess up with my ineptitude. The base is a super nice piece of ivory and plugged with Gabon ebony.
Knot is 22 mm two band. Can't wait to try it put in the morning. Thanks Bill!

That brush is breath-taking. Don’t mean to sound so dramatic, but there’s no other words for it. Bill does beautiful work, and uses some very special timbers.

Enjoy your new brush, you lucky fella‘ ;-)

Thanks everyone. Gave it a whirl this morning and love it. Soft tips but plenty of backbone. Holds a boatload of water compared to my pure badger. Good times!

The 1-2-3 block is a nice touch. The anvils in pics are overdone.
    Geezer and pfries like this.

Haha thanks. Was trying to find something I could use for pictures and thought that'd work well. I was also experimenting with a little homemade light box. I just need some lights now

I understand the feeling. I bought a brush and a couple of strops from Bill and I am a big fan of his work. His work is amazing. Enjoy your brush.
