Default A Nice custom brush from Pixelfixed!

Imagine THAT! Sweet African blackwood with trims of 440 stainless, a gennnuine ivory inlay on the base and stuffed with a 24mm finest badger from TGN!
Where do YOU get YOUR custom brushes?

That's absolutely gorgeous! One of these days I want to get a pixelfixed original too, but until then, I'll enjoy the ones I get to see here vicariously.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Different sources provide me with a varity of styles & materials; if I want Elk horn/antler, then GemStar Customs is my source, I really like the antler brushes.

Pixel provides exotic materials that are combined to create one of a kind works of art.

My brush rotation is only two brushes at a time, but one of them never leaves the duo; it's a T&I custom blond horn that is my go to brush for it's loft, comfort & lathering ability.

    But,,,

I get the most satisfaction out of finding old vintage badger brushes in antique stores, cleaning & putting them back in use. One of my favorites cost me $6.00, a Taylor of Old Bond Street antique store rescue.

I am hip, Hirlau! I enjoy that a lot! It is somethin I can actually do. Why, just the other nite, I decided to dip some old wooden handles in Rustoleum! Whatta mess!

HAY! it's not funny! YOU try walking around for hours twirling deck screws attached to wet rustoleum-clad handles in both hands! WITH your left arm in a sling!
    It was a cluster.
