That brush looks great, would be good for travel. I know that you know your stuff, so if you're giving it a thumbs up I think I shall look into getting one

    Gents:

The review look just perfect congrats.
In the other hand I will like to take the opportunity to say something about the simpsons brushes. I like them I do have a polo 10 two band and in the past one chubby 3 and a polo 8 two band. In my personal opinion the brushes are good but my only concern is in the way that the shapes on the knots ends to the customer. What am try to explain is the fact that the shapes on the knots are not consistent. In one case you can get a very well made bulb shape brush and if I buy one I could get the same brush but with a fan shape type of brush.
I understand that they are hand made but theirs details that needs to be take care off on the manufacturing process. The reason for me to say this is because for the price you pay in this days for one of those brushes you deserve a kind of a perfect brush. Even thou I understand that nothing in life is perfect. Consistency is the key in any business.

No as a comparison but you can get a Thater that the shape so far is perfect and consistently perfect no matter how many brushes you buy for less. And quality is not an issue on those. This is not written to create a fight or discrepancies but it is written for think.

    With respect.

    Thanks

    It certainly is not.
That pic was taken at one of the RazorCon's in Oslo and depicts the brushes in all their glory

I thought that they had different shape knots depending on the brush you bought? if you look on their website you can see they are not all the same for each range. One is a fan shape etc etc?

I know the Wee Scot seems to have a fan shape more than my other brushes, which is good for painting lather. The info that came with the brush explained that it should be used to paint not swirl on the face. Because of the small size I find that approach works very well. It lathers very quickly while using painting strokes, its also more controllable.

I only have one Simpson so I can't compare it to another Simpson, but saying that all my brushes are different shape wise.

Thanks for your comments though. It will be interesting when I get another Wee Scot. Its my favourite brush and the others have all gone into storage for now...
