Vintage brush restore Fail!
ok so this is my favorite brush! I have 3 in different colors and i wanted to try and remove the knot using the vise method and sadly i broke it... Yep! I almost teared up a bit! Its a Sad day!

What is that, porcelain? I think super glue could make a decent fix, maybe it's worth a try.
Also, my condolences if it is beyond repair, it looks like it was a very nice handle.

In the past I have re-knotted a few in Porcelain and a couple waterford Crystal,I soak them in Acetone for a couple days.
Everything just falls out.CAUTION

Acetone! Hum! I might have to try that... This one is beyond repair! Million pieces fell off... I have restore one similar in the past but in blue and i did with a drill and very carefully! I should have done the same

Sorry about the damage, but you found some nice gear there! Oh and if you want, I can send you some nail clippers, maybe they broke too?
