I went ahead and purchased one. First impression is it stinks, haha. I have yet to try it out, but will report back when I do. I gonna go ahead and try all types of brushes as i know everyone is looking for different things. I'll probably go with a horse hair next. Thanks for taking time to answer and I would love to hear more opinions still.

Well thought I'd report back after using the brush a few times. I have to say I really like it a lot. I have been using it more than my badger and boar brushes and really like the feel of it. It works great with both creams and soaps and I prefer the lil scritch over a softer brush. All in all I really enjoy using it and look forward to trying new brushes in the near future.

Thanked: 4I have the Amici brush and find it very comfortable and it's not totally broken in yet. Plenty of backbone and great on hard soaps. I also have a Semogue 610 boar and it's very soft out of the box and the tips haven't started to split yet.

I have not tried a mixed fur brush but the ugly and pretty woman thing I have experience with (relative and inappropriate terms that they are). I'll tell you it worked out fine until one found out about the other as they were best friends....past tense. I do not recommend this practice as it was very ungentlemanly and I probably should be a banned user for even bringing it up.

If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So from my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you
{Refrain}
A pretty woman makes her husband look small
And very often causes his downfall
As soon as he marries her, then she starts
Doin' the things that will break his heart
ut if you make an ugly woman your wife
You'll be happy for the rest of your life
An ugly woman cooks your meals on time
An she'll always give you peace of mind
{Refrain}
Don't let your friends say you have no taste
Go ahead and marry anyway
Though her face is ugly and her eyes don't match
Take it from me, she's a better catchNo matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 67My experience was different from that of Obie.
I personally like the Boar/Badger brushes I've tried. I have the Semogue Caravela, SE, and I have the Omega Mighty Midget. They're all pretty good. The Caravela is probably the best of the bunch, with soft tips but solid backbone and excellent loading and flowthrough characteristics. It actually is somewhat like Simpsons Manchurian hair (which I find to be way overpriced). The SE is slightly less refined, and the Mighty Midget is the only small brush that I've actually been able to like using. The MM has significantly more scritch than the Semogues - the badger hair is not of the same quality.

Nice looking,soft when it's dry but crap while use it
Many times that happened to me in the past with No mixed badgers knots
I don't care now if Mixed badger knot look "ugly", some pure bristle knot were useless due shedding
The boar knots after break-in period look like a woman after a BDSM treatment from the husband.
