Thanked: 18A jarring realization
I have an old brush that I've been using for that 10 years to apply oil to my ways of my lathe, sweep off chips, etc. Note that I've only SR shaving since Novemberish.
This morning I was out at the lathe before work, and realized that the brush I've been using is a badger hair shaving brush. No idea where I got but....wow....

I thought you were going to say you used that brush to make lather and shave.

Thanked: 18The US still does a lot of high end manufacturing, and 'old iron' is in high demand. I'm very surprised there is not enough market opportunity to support a company making exact replicas of the great Southbend lathes and knee mills of the past.
