Love the old long handled brushes. AWESOME bowl latherers...a couple of my current favorites for the bowl:

Thanked: 1184Say shave brush and this is the picture that forms in my head. You can hang onto them and whip water out, lathers in the brush not on your fingers, they hang better. Did I mention I like them ? Just got a few new old ones to restore.

Here is a long handled face lathering brush I made from a broken cedar tree branch I picked up and a 44mm pure black badger knot from whippeddog.

I could have sworn it said 44mm knot, maybe it was 34mm. I normally deal in standard measurements but the knot is around 1.25 inches in diameter at the base.
