    Wow that's a lot of good ideas for me!!!! I love em all!!! I have one on the lathe right now that I just bored for a grade A. Haven't started shaping yet but maybe I'll have to do it like one of these. Now which one?

    I love the idea of a slightly longer handle for the brushes since I'm a scuttle user. I'd love to see a handle that has three ergonomicly placed indents for the respective fingers I hold it with (thumb, index & middle). I hold mine almost as if it were a thick pen or pencil. This could, in theory, keep my fingers from bouncing off of the inside edge of the scuttle.

    Another idea is to use an exotic mineral like green malachite, as you can see in some wedges Joe Chandler has made. Tiger's eye is another cool material to try. I wish I had the space and equipment to make some of my own but money is always the root of issues on my home front.
